Come and explore the rocky islets that make up unique and spectacular Phang Nga Bay. Many of these small islands are doughnut shaped with hollow interiors called “hongs” (“rooms”). At low tide, through gaps created by the sea, you can gain access to these islands’ interiors by using flat-bottomed kayaks or canoes. Inside these hidden lagoons are ecosystems of mangrove swamps that have remained undisturbed for centuries. This is a marvelous adventure that all of the family will enjoy – explore and relax assisted by experienced and knowledgeable guides. The original Sea Canoe pioneer is a man named John Gray who first discovered these hongs inside the islands in Phang Nga Bay. The very first full day tour he developed still runs today called “Classic Caves and Hongs”.
