This picturesque town - Szentendre - is also known as an Artists’ Village. Considering the abundance of galleries, street performers and musicians, the title 'city of artists' does not seem to be an overstatement.
Szentendre, the pearl of the Danube Bend, is a captivating little town with a distinct Mediterranean atmosphere, narrow alleys covered with cobblestone, residence for several art galleries, souvenir shops, street musicians and portrait painters.You have the opportunity to discover this beautiful area on your own. Live guiding is guaranteed on the way to Szentendre only.
You can walk around in the picturesque baroque town center and you will also have the option to devote some time for shopping and tasting the locally produced delicious marzipan and explore the Marzipan museum while enjoying a refreshing drink. You can also try the classic Hungarian food, so called Lángos (deep fried Hungarian flat bread). Afterwards, you will return to Budapest by bus.
