Full day tour to the fascinating province of Tabanan, through the tropical nature. Our first stop will be at the Pura Luhur Batukaru, one of the six most important temples on the island. Built-in the 13th century, it is located at the foot of the volcano. The temple is outstanding for the beauty of its surrounding nature, in the middle of the forest with thousands of different trees and flowers. In the premises, there is also a small artificial lake and a sacred spring, still used to bless the devotees. On the way to the restaurant, we will pass through Jatiluwih which is still an uncontaminated area. Here, we will admire the most beautiful rice terraces of the island, protected by UNESCO. After lunch a short stop at Candikuning local market, where we will find tropical spices, flowers and fruits. Our last stop will be at Bedugul Lake, where we will visit the Pura Ulu Danu Beratan, which is situated in the plateau area, 1200m above sea level, with a cool atmosphere that surrounds it as well as green hills as a backdrop. The temple, spectacularly positioned in the lake, is dedicated to the water goddess. We'll return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
