Tokyo Dome City referred to as Big Egg City before January 1, 2000, is an entertainment complex in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. It includes the world's largest roofed baseball stadium known as Tokyo Dome (nicknamed "Big Egg"), an amusement park known as Tokyo Dome City Attractions (formerly Kōrakuen Yūenchi), and Korakuen Hall. In May 2003, a spa resort known asLaQua opened for business near Tokyo Dome City Attractions. It also hosts character shows for Toei Company's Toei Superheroes, including the Super Sentai series.
Tokyo Dome City Attractions is a general entertainment and amusement park facility located within Tokyo Dome City which features many fun rides, including a Ferris wheel and Thunder Dolphin, a roller coaster that takes passengers on an 80-meter plunge at an angle of 80 degrees. Other attractions include a hot spring called LaQua, parachute land was refurbished and reopened in the summer of 2011, professional boxing and wrestling matches at Korakuen Hall, and the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Tokyo Dome City offers a huge variety of entertainment for both adults and children.
