Located at the foot of the Vitosha Mountain, in the western part of the country, Sofia occupies a strategic position at the centre of the Balkan Peninsula. Its history spreads over 2,400 years. Sofia’s was found in the 5th century B.C., by the Celtic tribe Serdi, where the ancient name of the settlement Serdica derives from. Discover a guided sightseeing tour with a visit of St. George Rotunda, St. Sofia Church and Alexander Nevski Cathedral, as well as a walking sightseeing tour in the centre of the city and two hours free time for you.
