We've been doing this for 29 years -- hiking people into the Maui of their dreams. Waterfalls. Rain forests. Volcanoes. We know what we're doing. We're the best trained naturalist guides on island. Hike Maui was started by an eccentric naturalist philosopher called ''a walking encyclopedia'' (see 'Our Story'). The guides who work with him walk the same walk. Their mission is to give you the best, most profound day of your vacation. Have fun. Be inspired. Join the adventure. Let our guides show you the way.
Meeting/pick-up point: Hotel pick-up.
Duration: Between four and nine hours, depending on the tour.
Start/opening time: Morning tours.

Possible amendments:
Dress code: Footwear: We highly recommend guests use their own footwear for optimum stability (sports sandals or running/tennis shoes). Tabis (water shoes) are available to rent for guests who do not have appropriate footwear. Our Haleakala Crater Hike and Zip/Waterfall Combo tours both require closed-toe shoes.

We run our tours in all weather conditions, but reserve the right to alter tour parameters if safety issues arise. This may affect guests' ability to swim and jump at waterfalls, and may result in modified tour locations and stops.
