Day 1:
Muscat - Nakhal - Wadi Bani Awf - Jabal Shams (Dinner)
Pick-up from Muscat City Hotel (Hotel booked directly by guest) at 08:30 am, meet your driver or guide at hotel lobby and embark on your private 04WD (One 04WD can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests and 1 driver) for exploring the interior part of Oman.
After One and half hour drive you reach Barka fish and vegetable market and visit. Later drive further to visit Al Hazem Fort which is an old magnificent fort. The area is surrounded with date’s plantations. The narrow road through the town winds up to the Hot Springs, which is a popular picnic, spot. (Please keep your own towel incase would like to swin here for a while).
After spending some time you enter the off-road terrian of Western hajar mountain. Drive further through famous WADI BANI AWF, a beautiful Wadi in the middle of steep mountain walls. Enjoy your time at Wadi and The drive further is trilling with stops at breattaking cliffs , mountainous villages of Hat, Bilat Sait etc. Arrive to Jabel shams enroute visit Wadi Gul , one of the mountaious village at in Oman.
Jebel Shams’ in arabic means mountain of Sun. The Grand Canyon of Jebel Shams is highest in Oman and third highest in the world. Arrive at Jebel Shams at around 12:30 hrs and enjoy sometime at Grand Canyon and walk for sometime on mountains breathing the fresh air.

Day 2:
Jabal Shams - Al Hamra - Jabal Akhdar (Breakfast, Dinner)
Breakfast at Jebel Shams Resort and check out from the hotel, Meet your driver or guide and embark on your private 04WD and leave for Visit Nizwa the cultural and heritage capital of Oman. The city was once the capital of “JULANDA DYNASTY” in the 6th & 7th Century AD. Today it remains as the most popular tourist attractions with its historical buildings & imposing fort.
Leave for Al Hamra. Arrive at the old village of Al Hamra and walk through this village to arrive Bait Al Safa. Bait Al Safa is a local Museum, made by villagers showcasing Omani house. Visit this Museum and enjoy Omani Coffee and dates. Later drive further to Pretty village of Misfah Al Abyeen, one of the mountainous villages on the foot of western hajar mountains. The architectural marvel of mud houses built on the top of Rocky Mountain cliffs is amazing.
Later drive to Jabel akdher mountians. Climb on stretch of 36-kms winding road for Jabel Akdhar
Jabelakdher, the green mountain of Western Hajar mountains at an altitude of 2000mtrs above sea level.
At Jabelakdher locals grow fruits and vegetable at terrace of the mountain. On arrival, tour of Jabel akdher take a walk at Siq Plateau to see terrace plantations and to abandon village. Jabelakdher grows various kinds of fruits and vegetables.
Then Porceed to Jabal Akhdar and check in at Hotel.
Day 3:
Jabal Akhdar (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day at leisure at Hotel with breakfast and dinner included at the hotel. This day is for guest to enjoy on their own.
No transfers or Guide services on this day.
Day 4:
Jabal Akhdar - Nizwa - Muscat (Breakfast)
Breakfast at Jabal Akhdar hotel and check out from hotel, at 09:30 am, meet your Guide and embark on your 04WD and proceed to drive towards Nizwa and arrive at Nizwa fort and Visit.
Nizwa fort with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya’ aruba to defend the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area, with the town having grown around the edifice. Access to the top is only by means of a narrow twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors, studded with metal. From the top of the tower one can get a bird’s eye view of the Nizwa city.
By 09:15 Hrs walk to Souq, and visit. Every Friday, there is cattle market at the souq wherein cattle sellers auction their cattles to locals. This an old market for cattles and atmosphere is electrifying especially before Eid. On all other days normal souq activites perform. There are various buildings/locations allocated for Vegetables, meat, Soveneiers and Spices . Stroll around the souq.
(Nizwa Souq closes by 09:30 am and Nizwa Fort closes by 11:00 am on Fridays.)
Thereafter drive to visit Birkat Al Mauz. Birkat Al mauz is a place where locals grow date palm trees. Pass through the old village and the farms of date palm trees. Your guide will explain the complete cultivation process as well as old irrigation system in Oman - Falaj System.
Then drive towards Muscat and upon arrival at Muscat and upon arrival at Muscat drop off the guest at Muscat City hotel or Muscat Airport after around 14:30 PM.
