Program
Day 1:
Friday: Los Angeles
Transfer to the Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel by taking the Airport Shuttle. Accommodations at the hotel.
Day 2:
Saturday: Los Angeles
Grab & Go breakfast. The history of Los Angeles began in 1781 when 44 pobladores journeyed over one thousand miles from central New Spain (modern day Mexico) and established a farming community in the area naming it “El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles de Porciúncula”. Over time this community would grow under the flags of Spain, Mexico and eventually the United States to become one of the largest, culturally diverse metropolitan cities in the world, the City of Los Angeles. The charm of this metropolis is largely linked to the legends and the history of cinema and the world of entertainment which is why the most famous district of the city is Hollywood with its many iconic attractions. Starting with the storied Hollywood sign overlooking the city – now for over 100 years and the Hollywood Walk of Fame with its over 2000 embedded stars honoring film industry greats and celebrities alike to Grauman’s Chinese Theatre with its celebrity hand and footprints made in the cement of the theatre’s forecourt. Olvera Street, the oldest part of Downtown Los Angeles, is part of the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument and where several 19th century buildings still stand today. The tour ends in Hollywood; the bus does not return to the hotel but continues with the optional excursion “Los Angeles by the beach” to enjoy the beautiful beaches and Santa Monica. Overnight stay. Accommodations at the hotel.
Day 3:
Sunday: Los Angeles - Las Vegas [432 Km]
Grab & Go breakfast. 8:15 am departure from the Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel en route to Las Vegas with a multilingual guide who will accompany the group throughout the entirety of the tour. Along the way, we visit the Calico Ghost Town, a fascinating look at the Old West mining town which was once bustling with hundreds of mines in the 1880’s Silver Rush that produced millions of dollars in silver. Continuing on, we are transported into the vibrant, almost surreal world of Los Vegas. With its dazzling neon lights and extravagant hotel architecture at every turn. The sky’s the limit in the Entertainment Capital of the World! Optional in Las Vegas: Lights & Dream Night Tour. Accommodations at the hotel.
Day 4:
Monday: Las Vegas - Grand Canyon - Williams [540 Km]
Grab & Go breakfast. Early morning departure to the vast expanse of the breathtaking Grand Canyon, one of the greatest wonders of the world. An immense gorge carved out by the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon measures some 450km long, over 1800 meters deep and up to 29km wide. Its sheer scale & vibrant colors will leave you speechless. You will have time to enjoy the park and take pictures or relax. Accommodations at the Williams Hotel.
Day 5:
Tuesday: Grand Canyon - Monument Valley - Page [460 Km]
Buffet breakfast. Early departure continuing through Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, with its colorful red buttes and spires towering hundreds of feet above the valley floor. As one of the most remarkably beautiful landscapes in the world it was early recognized by Hollywood as a stunning background for many classic John Ford films, as well as other favorites such as Thelma and Louise and Forest Gump. Don’t miss out on your chance to take an amazing picture of Monument Valley! (Optional Jeep Tour). Continue on to Page. Accommodations at the hotel.
Day 6:
Wednesday: Page - Antelope Canyon - Bryce Canyon [272 Km]
Buffet breakfast. Early departure to visit the magnificent Antelope Canyon: not as well-known as the Grand Canyon, this spectacle of nature carved out of sandstone by the wind and water that formed the walls, is famous for its red rocks with violet and orange tones and for the impressive effects of light. We will continue through Bryce Canyon where you can admire the still strange nature of this corner of the American West: colorful rocks and pinnacles sculpted by the natural phenomena of erosion, an amphitheater of needles whose colors vary from day to day, from yellow to orange, from pink to red or purple. We will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 7:
Thursday: Bryce Canyon - Las Vegas [419 Km]
Buffet breakfast. Early departure to Zion, a fascinating park where the Virgin River dug its bed among the solid overhanging rocks. A deep gorge framed by bright red and white colors of majestic walls, rocks carved by the force of the river’s waters. We will continue to Las Vegas and hotel accommodation. Free night to explore Sin City and see why it is called the Entertainment Capital of the World! Accommodations at the hotel.
