Description

This tour will begin with your arrival in Delhi, a city of living history & heritage of close to three millennia. Then drive to visit the famous Hill Stations of North India Himalaya. Explore the historical monuments of farmer British colonial town Shimla & lower bazaars flow with local life and shops selling souvenirs, fabrics and spices. Further deep in Himalaya drive to Manali and explore the Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass. Walk in the vast lush green tea gardens of Palampur. Continue drive to Dharamsala the Buddhist capital in exile outside Tibet in the beautiful surrounding of Dhauladhar hills. Walk along the Temple road, hop into one of the many colorful shops & spin the Tibetan prayer. From here head to Amritsar the spiritual capital of Sikh. Then fly back to Delhi.

On arrival at Delhi airport assistance & transfer to hotel check in. O/n at hotel.

Day 2:
Delhi (B)
City tour of Delhi visiting Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Gath, Humayun Tomb, Qutab Minar & Lotus Temple. Also drive pass President House, Parliament & India Gate etc. O/n at hotel.

Day 3:
Delhi - Shimla (364km) (B)
Drive to Shimla initially normal followed by the curvy mountain road. O/n at hotel.

Day 4:
Shimla (B)
Visit The Ridge, The Mall, The Christ Church, Jakhoo Temple. Also visit State museum an abode to excellent paintings, handicrafts, textiles and stone carvings. O/n at hotel.

Day 5:
Shimla (B)
Excursion to Chail known for its salubrious beauty and virgin forests. And Kufri known as Switzerland of the East offer breathtaking views, stunning locales and tranquil surroundings. O/n at hotel.

Day 6:
Shimla - Manali (310kms) (B)
Drive to Manali, via visiting Manikaran a famous pilgrimage destination for Sikhs and Hindus in the Parvati Valley along the banks of river Parvati. Arrive Manali check in & o/n at hotel.

Day 7:
Manali (B)
Visit Hidimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Village and hot water spring, Tibetan monastery the Himalayan Nyingmapa Gompa & Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa. Also visit Old Manali. O/n at hotel.

Day 8:
Manali (B)
Excursion to Rohtang Pass a high mountain pass at an elevation 3,980 m on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. Drive back to Manali & rest time free to relax and visit The Mall. O/n at hotel.

Day 9:
Manali - Palampur (180kms) (B)
Drive to Palampur, check in at hotel. Visit Tashi Jong Monastery, Baijnath Temple, and the tea gardens. O/n at hotel.

Day 10:
Palampur - Dharamshala (50kms) (B)
Drive to Dharamshala enroute stop to visit Jwala Devi Temple, one of the most popular Hindu temples dedicated to the Goddess of Light. Arrive and check in at hotel Rest time free to relax. O/n at hotel.

Day 11:
Dharamshala (B)
Visit McLeodganj home to most of the Tibetan exiles. Tsuglagkhang Temple, Bhagsunath Temple, Bhagsunath waterfall, Dal Lake, Church of St. John in the Wilderness and local market. O/n at hotel.

Day 12:
Dharamshala - Amritsar (210kms) (B)
Drive to Amritsar check in at hotel. Later visit Wagah border to attend Beating Retreat Ceremony. O/n at hotel.

Day 13:
Amritsar - Departure (B)
City tour of Amritsar visit Golden Temple, Durgiana Temple, Museum, Gobindgarh Fort & Rickshaw ride walking in old market. Later transfer to airport to board departure flight.
