Program

Day 1:

Arrive Chennai
Arrival transfer to hotel (check in/out time 12pm). Visit Fort St. George, St Mary Church inside the fortress, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Vadapalani Murugan Temple, Government Museum, Dakshinachitra Museum, Santhome Cathedral & Marina Beach. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2:

Chennai - Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (150kms)
Drive to Pondicherry enroute stop at Mahabalipuram to visit UNESCO WHS monuments Monolithic Temples, Krishnas Butterball, Cave Temples, Shore Temple & The Arjuna Penance. On arrival check in at hotel. Visit Aurovil & Pondicherry Museum. Drive pass or walk through stunning French Quarters, charming mustard streets and colonial villas which include French consulate, Raj Nivas, Government Square, Churches & French schools. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3:

Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Gangaikonda Cholapuram - Darasuram - Thanjore (180kms)
Drive to Thanjavur via visiting Chidambaram Nataraja Temple and The Great Living Chola Temples at Gangaikonda Cholapuram & Darasuram. Arrive Thanjavur check in & Overnight at hotel.

Day 4:

Thanjavur - Trichy (60kms)
Visit Brihadeshwara Temple & Palace Complex built by great Chola king in the 10th century. Drive to Trichy check in at hotel. Later visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Rock Fort Temple & Jambukeshwara temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5:

Trichy - Madurai (140kms)
Drive to Madurai check in at hotel. Later visit Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar Palace, Alagar Koil, Tiruparankundram Murugan Temple & Palamuthirsolai Murugan Temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6:

Madurai - Munnar (160km)
Drive to Munnar, check in at hotel. Later tea estate visit & tea testing tour. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7:

Munnar (B)
Visit Pothamedu, Mattupetty dam, Rajamala hill, Eravikulam National Park, Mattupedi Dairy Farm, Echo Point & Tea Museum. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8:

Munnar - Ooty (250kms)
Drive to Ooty check in at hotel. Rest time to explore the colonial city with your driver. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9:

Ooty
Visit botanical gardens followed by a ride on the famous Nilgiri Mountain Railway. Boat ride in Ooty Lake. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10:

Ooty - Mysore (150kms)
Drive to Mysore check in at hotel. Later visit Mysore Palace, jagan Mohan Palace, Chamundeswari Temple, Nandi Bull Temple, City Palace & St. Philomenas Church. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11:

Mysore - Somanathapura - Srirangapatna - Shravanbela Gola - Hassan (135kms)
Drive to Hassan via visiting Somanathapura Chennakesava Temple, Srirangapatna Ranganathaswamy Temple & Shravanbelagla Gommateshwara Temple. Arrive Hassan, check in & Overnight at hotel.

Day 12:

Hassan - Belur - Halebeedu - Bangalore (250kms)

Bangalore - Departure (flight)
