Description

Seven days private tour will begin in Dibrugarh an industrial city surrounded by sprawling tea estates & rain-forest. Then proceed to Majuli the abode of the Assamese Neo-Vaishnavite culture and home to tribal communities. Next drive to Kaziranga National Park a protected area spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River. Its forests, wetlands and grasslands are home to tigers, elephants and the world largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. The diverse experience tour will end in Guwahati a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River known for holy sites.

Program

Day 1:

Arrive Dibrugarh
On arrival at Dibrugarh airport assistance & transfer to hotel. Later visit Jokai Botanical, Shrikshetra Dhaam, Lord Jagannath Temple, Koli Aai Thaan, Sarumechlow and Bormechow Maidam the graves of 2 queens belonging to the Ahom Dynasty, Dehing Satra ruins & Buddhist Monastery at Namphake Village.

Day 2:

Dibrugarh
Excursion to visit Jeypore Rain-forest famous for its biodiversity and is full of various species of flora and fauna. Next visit Heritage Tea Garden, Tea Estate & Tea factory.

Day 3:

Dibrugarh - Majuli (155kms)
Drive to Majuli till Nimathi-Ghat to connect a local ferry to cross mighty Brahmanputra river with co-passengers on board. After reaching Kamalabari Ghat transfer to your lodge check in at hotel. Later explore local village of Mishing tribe, meet local, have tea or local rice beer at their place.

Day 4:

Majuli - Kaziranga National Park (150kms)
After breakfast transfer to Kamalabari ghat to connect ferry to reach Nimathi-Ghat. From here drive to Kaziranga National Park and check in at resort. Rest time free to relax.
Overnight at hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner.

Day 5:

Kaziranga NP
Gypsy safari in the Kaziranga NP. Early morning explore central Range good for water birds, followd by eastern range then in afternoon Western Range preferred for seeing big game like Rhinos, Tigers and Water Buffaloes.
O/n at resort. Meal plan: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner.

Day 6:

Kaziranga NP - Guwahati (200kms)
Drive to Guwahati check in at hotel. Later visit Kamakhya Temple, Navagraha Temple, Umananda Island & Umananda Temple. Evening enjoy a magnificent sunset over the majestic Brahmaputra River on a cruise.
Overnight at hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner.

Day 7:

Guwahati - Departure
As per flight schedule transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
