Program

Day 1:
Arrive Kolkata
On arrival at Kolkata Airport assistance & transfer to hotel (standard hotel check in time 12pm). Rest time for personal activites & relax.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 2:
Kolkata
Full day city tour of Kolkata visiting Fort William, Victoria Memorial, Netaji Bhawan, Howrah Bridge, Dakshineswar Kali Temple & other landmark monuments of the city.

Day 3:
Kolkata - Bagdogra/ Darjeeling (62kms)
Transfer to airport to board flight for Bagdogra. On arrival transfer to Darjeeling check in at hotel. Darjeeling the Queen of Indias hills is a Victorian town of old world charm, surrounded by fragrant tea gardens. Rest time to relax and explore The Mall.

Day 4:
Darjeeling
Early morning 4am pick up for visiting Tiger Hill view colorful sunrise over Mt. Kangchenjunga. On way back visit Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. Later visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Ropeway view point, Tibetans Refuge Center (closed on Sunday), Happy valley Tea Garden (outer view) and Lioyed botanical garden. Enjoy toy train ride on Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. Visit a Tibetan village and Buddhist monasteries Chholing & Darli. Evening free to explore the market.

Day 5:
Darjeeling - Pelling (75kms)
Drive to Pelling check in at hotel. Later visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, Tashiding Monastery & Sanga Choeling Monastery. Also visit Rimbi water Falls.

Day 6:
Pelling - Gangtok (120kms)
Drive to Gangtok via NH 31A passing through Temi, Taraku, Singtam, Rangpo & Ranipool. The journey is surrounded by lush green forests and Tea Gardens with eye catching picturesque view. On arrival check in at hotel.

Day 7:
Gangtok
Excursion to Tsongo Lake a paradise for bird lovers. Next visit Do Drul Chorten, Himalayan Zoological Park, Directorate of Handicraft, Lal bazaar & The Mall.

Day 8:
Gangtok - Kalimpong (75kms)
Visit Rumtek Monastery, Bakthang Waterfall, Tashi Viewpoint & Enchey Monastery. Later drive to Kalimpong check in at hotel.

Day 9:
Kalimpong - Bagdogra (75kms)/ Kolkata
Visit colonial-era buildings MacFarlane Memorial Church & Dr. Grahams Homes. Also visit Durpin Monastery, Deolo Park, Thongsa Gompa & Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang Gompa. Later transfer to Bagdogra airport to board flight for Kolkata.
