The 10 days tour will begin in Kolkata a colonial city with many historical monuments & famous temples. From here drive through the east coast road to Bhubaneshwar with stopover at Balasore - a beach resort with temple in its abundance & Bhitarkanika - a mangrove forest and a breeding ground for Olive Ridley turtles. Off the beach explore Ratnagiri, Udaigiri & Lalitgiri excavated Buddhist Sites, then reach Bhubaneshwar the temple town. Visit few temple in the city along-with Udaygiri & Khandagiri Caves. Further drive to Puri a Beach resort via visiting Konark Sun Temple an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy boating on Chilika Lake a brackish water lagoon & bird sanctuary.

Program

Day 1:
Arrive Kolkata
On arrival at Kolkata Airport assistance & transfer to hotel (standard hotel check in time 12pm). Rest time for personal activities.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 2:
Kolkata
Visit Fort William, Victoria Memorial, Netaji Bhawan, Howrah Bridge & Dakshineswar Kali Temple.
Overnight at hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast.

Day 3:
Kolkata - Balasore (250kms)
Drive to Balasore check in at hotel. Later visit Khirachora Gopinatha Temple, Jagannatha Temple & Bhusandeswara Temple. Also visit Chandipur-on-sea a seaside resort famous for its mile long beach.
Overnight at hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast.

Day 4:
Balasore - Bhitarkanika (165kms)
Drive to Bhitarakanika check in at hotel. Rest time to relax and explore the surrounding.
Overnight at hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 5:
Bhitarkanika
Explore Bhitarkanika the breeding ground for Olive Ridley turtles. Boat safari in Mangrove forest, enjoy the serpentine creeks, watch out for birds, particularly different varieties of Kingfisher. Keep looking for estuarine crocodiles basking in the sun. Also visit Bagagahan Bird Sanctuary, climb to watch tower, look for Pelican & different varieties of Storks.

Day 6:
Bhitarkanika - Bhubaneshwar (200kms)
Morning boat safari. Drive to Puri via visiting Ratnagiri, Udaigiri & Lalitgiri excavated Buddhist Sites. On arrival check in at hotel.
Overnight at hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast.

Day 7:
Bhubaneshwar - Puri (75kms)
Visit Parasurameshwar, Mukteshwar, Rajarani & Lingaraj temple (only Hindu can enter temple sanctum). Drive to Puri enroute visit Khandgiri, Udayagiri Jain caves and Dhauli Rock Edicts. Arrive Puri check in at hotel.
Overnight at hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast.

Day 8:
Puri
Visit Konark Sun temple, Pipili applique work village, Raghurajpur artisan village, Ramchandi temple, Chandrabhaga beach & Lord Jagannath temple (only Hindu can enter temple sanctum).

Day 9:
Puri
Excursion to visit Chilika Lake the largest wintering ground for migratory birds on the Indian sub-continent. Enjoy boat ride & drive back to Puri.

Puri - Bhubaneswar (65kms)
Transfer to Bhubaneswar airport to board flight for onward destination.
