Description

In this private two day tour we pick the guest from Cochin city hotel or airport then transfer to Alleppey (Backwater of Kerala) where we provide 4 hr boat cruise with lunch on board. After cruising for 4 hr guest are transferred to Marari Beach of overnight stay and relax. We have kept day 2 free to relax on the beach and activities on the beach. Tour end on day 3 with return transfer to Cochin hotel or airport.

Program

Day 1:

Cochin - Alleppey (60kms) (L)
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Alleppey boat jetty to board houseboat and sail through the tropical countryside enchanting backwaters. While sailing enjoy palm fringed narrow canals winding through the vast expanse of paddy fields and the neat tiny hamlets lined up along either side of the canals, the panoramic sights one can never forget. Pass through one of the few areas in the world where farming is done below sea level. Alleppey is referred as the Venice of the East, due to canals, backwaters, and lagoons. Boats are the main mode of transportation here, you can see Shikara boats, small motor boats, passenger boats, cargo boat, and houseboats. Evening enjoy sunset from the sun-deck of the houseboats. The Houseboats have generated electricity, sitting cum dining area, separate bedroom with attached English toilets, sun deck and fully loaded kitchen with a chef & driver. Start sail through scenic backwaters, passing through one of the few areas in the world where farming is done below sea level. Lunch on board during the 4hrs cruise.
Later drive to Marari check in & overnight at hotel.

Day free and easy to relax on the beach. Overnight at hotel. (transport not included)

Day 3:

Marari Beach - Cochin (75kms) (B)
Drive to Cochin drop off to your hotel or airport.
