Along the route, we come across the timeless obelisk that honors George Washington, the first president of the United States. And beyond, facing the obelisk, we visit the imposing Lincoln Memorial, dedicated to our beloved “Honest Abe”, the 16th president of our nation. Continuing on to Arlington Cemetery, we view the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier which is the final resting place of three unidentified American service members who are guarded 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by members of the Old Guard. And finally, the venerated grave of John F. Kennedy is visited, alit by its eternal flame, set by Jacqueline Kennedy on November 25, 1963. Accommodations at the hotel.

Friday: Washington D.C. - Philadelphia - New York [378 Km]
Buffet breakfast. We will depart for New York with a stop in Philadelphia and a brief visit to the Old City Historic District which encompasses America’s renowned “most historic square mile”. Here, the Founding Fathers of the United States declared liberty in Independence Hall where the signing of the Declaration of Independence took place in 1776.
