The resort is located in the heart of Shark Bay World Heritage region of Western Australia, 27 km from Denham, overlooking the famous Dolphin Beach. Monkey Mia is approximately 850kms from Perth (10 hour drive) and 420km from Geraldton (4 hour drive). Regular flights to Monkey Mia leave from Perth, Carnarvon and Geraldton. The flight from Perth takes approximately two-and-a-half hours while the trip from Geraldton takes 90 minutes.Garden Rooms are located within the gardens of the Resort, only 20 ? 100 metres to the famous dolphin beach. Features include private verandah, air conditioning, TV and complimentary latest release in house movies, tea / coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and BBQ's with crockery and cutlery provided. Bedding is one Queen Bed and one Single Bed.Bough Shed restaurant overlooks Dolphin Beach, and opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. An fantastic menu with daily specials of freshly caught fish is highly recommended with a great selection of Australian wine.The New Monkey Bar Beer Garden is a good alternative to more casual dining with extremely reasonable priced items (hot and cold) and also overlooks the beach. There is occasional live entertainment in the bar during high season. There are also 2 fully stocked kitchens that guest can cook for themselves in the kitchens or indeed at any of the BBQ stations throughout the resort.The accommodation exterior is Low rise with balcony or patio.
