This hotel is situated in the north of Crete, in the centre of Stavromenos which has an array of shops, restaurants, bars, and a public transport stop. The sea is within 150 m of the hotel. Rethymno, Arkadi and a bus station are about 10 km away. Chania airport and Heraklion airport are both roughly 70 km from the hotel.

Guests have a choice of 14 apartments and 21 studios located in a 2-storey main building and 3 auxiliary buildings. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. The Thalassi Apartments consists of several blocks located between Sfakaki (300 m) and Stavromenos (1 km) in the north coast of Rethymnon, Crete. Rethymnon city centre is 12 km away and the property is only 300 m away from its private sandy beach. It is also situated 68 km away from Chania airport and approximately 70 km from Heraklion airport. In In Stavromenos there are a number of shops, taverns and local coffee shops, as well as there are old villages less than 3 km away, such as Chamalevri and Asteri.

The facilities and services include reception (limited hours), restaurant (kindly note that the dinner for the HB clients and the lunch and dinner for the AI clients will be served in the al carte restaurant which belongs to the hotel on the beach (200 meters from the hotel), mini market, TV lounge, luggage room and internet corner (with extra charge). It also features an outdoor pool with children´s section, sun terrace, pool bar, garden, playground and a beach bar/tavern on the beach (only opened during the summer season).
