It lies in the shelter of its very own extensive and unspoilt pine forest (5 hectares) and is set in one of Otranto's most beautiful and charming valley landscapes. The surronding area is rich in olive trees, citrus plantations and aromatic wild vegetation. In the spring-summer seasons excursions into the pine forest offer the possibility to view rare floral specimens such as wild orchids (Anacamptis pyramidalis).
