We will start this amazing tour by visiting the Paseo de las Musas, a place to spend an amazing time with the family and enjoy a nice walk. This urban park has many squares surrounded by beautiful gardens and flowers, as well as sculptures of 9 muses from Greek mythology made by the sculptor Miguel Ángel Díaz Dávila.

The tour in Chiclayo continues until you reach the main park, where you'll be blown away by the incredible sights! The city is unique because it doesn’t have Plaza de Armas, which is a fascinating fact! From here, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the city's commercial malls, the old cinema, and the magnificent Cathedral. The magnificent Cathedral of Chiclayo, or Santa Maria Cathedral, began construction in 1869 and was finally completed in 1939, despite a lack of funds. The magnificent Cathedral was designed by the renowned Gustave Eiffel and boasts a stunning neoclassical style.

The city of Chiclayo was founded in 1720 by the Spanish as a place to rest for the merchants during the colonial period. Then, we are going to reach the Municipal Palace. This Republican monument offers amazing exhibitions of local photographers in their beautiful rooms. Chiclayo is home to pre-Inca cultures such as Moche and is the place where the tomb of the Lord of Sipan or Huaca Rajada was founded.

We will end the tour visiting the Mercado Modelo, also known as the Witch Market of Chiclayo, a place where you can find everything, including products related to witchcraft because shamanism is very traditional in the mountains and jungles of Peru and it is practised to heal illnesses or lovesickness.
