Program details
We pick you up at your hotel in La Paz. A 2-hour transfer along the scenic highway takes you to the Port of Los Cabos. At the marina, you will board a 27” motorized panga equipped with a shade and driven by an experienced captain specializing in whale watching.
This extraordinary peninsula ends at its southern end with the same wild beauty that characterizes its entire length. This is where the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of California meet. This meeting of two seas is framed by spectacular rock formations, caves with a history of pirates, a great variety of marine life, a tunnel from the Gulf to the Pacific, and a beach that overlooks both seas that mark the end of the peninsula, all crowned by the famous stone arch that defies the waves of both seas.
Every winter, the headland of the peninsula is frequented by pods of humpback whales, many of which are females with newborn calves. They often exhibit impressive behavior, such as striking the ocean surface with their powerful tail fins as well as spectacular leaps and spins out of the water that is very often mimicked by hatchlings.
On this 2-hour speedboat ride, your certified and knowledgeable guide will complement your tour with interesting information that will make you appreciate your experiences on board even more! It is an unforgettable experience that cannot be missed! After some seafood tacos at a local restaurant, you will begin your transfer back to La Paz.
