Program details

Pick up from your hotel at the Dead Sea, we head to visit Madaba, a city best known for the famous 6th century Mosaic map of Jerusalem & Holy Land and for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics.

Proceed to Mt. Nebo a city mentioned in the bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the promised land that he would never enter.

We now head further down to the southern part of Jordan to visit Kerak Castle. One of the largest crusader fortresses was built in1140s under Pagan and Fulk king of Jerusalem which it was called Crac des Moabites or "Karak in Moab”. The castle surrendered in the 12th century to Saladin’s Army due to the lack of arms. A major highlight is to visit the castle as an example of Crusader architecture, a mixture of West European, Byzantine, and Arab designs, and as one of the early Frankish castles.

Upon completion, transfer to your hotel in Petra for drop-off.
