1st Stop: Tin Hau Temple

2nd Stop: Lin Fa Kung

Dating back to 1863, Lin Fa Kung was erected to honour the divine presence of Kwun Yum, the beloved Goddess of Mercy. Its unique architectural style, a rarity in Hong Kong, showcases the intricate craftsmanship of a bygone era. While the temple has undergone renovations over time, its core structure remains beautifully conserved, transporting visitors to a bygone era.

Renowned as one of the "Four Milk Tea Kings in Hong Kong," it has earned a well-deserved reputation for its exceptional brews. Indulge your senses as you savor the legendary stockings milk tea, a beloved classic that has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike.

5th Stop: Fire Dragon Heritage Centre

Fire Dragon Heritage Centre was constructed in 1909, the original building was named Hung Shing Yi Hok, meaning ‘Confucius free school for the poor’. It was destroyed during the Second World War and reconstruction on the same site was finished on 20 November 1949. 6th Stop: Wonton Noodles Restaurant

7th Stop: Historic Street in Causeway Bay

8th Stop: Traditional Chinese Confectionary Shop

Hong Kong has a long history of making preserved fruits and these are one of the typical traditional delicacies of Hong Kong. This ancient industry has deep roots within the city, reflecting its enduring history. Our knowledgeable tour guide will explain two traditional Chinese preserved fruit preparation methods and an opportunity to delve into the rich cultural legacy of Hong Kong's preserved fruits.


9th Stop: Traditional Chinese wedding costume shop

Our knowledgeable tour guide will tell you an interesting story about the origin of the Cheongsam and Kwan Kwa (wedding costumes with patterns of dragons & phoenixes). The technique of making this traditional chinses wedding costume is titled on the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Hong Kong.


10th Stop: Petty person beating

Further down to another area for a taste of living culture - an ancient tradition of "petty person beating" (da siu yan in Cantonese) - a Chinese folk ritual to dispel evil, particularly the kind brought by enemies. This folk custom is not only included in the intangible cultural heritage but also published in the international book "Time Magazine" and is widely known around the world.


11th Stop: Traditional herbal tea shop

For the last stop, it is time to take a break at a herbal tea shop. Herbal tea has a long history and carries unique folk wisdom and traditional culture. Herbal tea shops can be found everywhere in Hong Kong, and herbal tea has become a staple drink in people’s daily lives.
