The small Argentine town of Puerto Iguazú, located in the Triple Border region, 17 km from downtown Foz, borders Foz do Iguaçu, in Brazil, and Puerto Presidente Franco, in Paraguay, is must-see for any visitor.
Considered the Capital of Tourism in the Misiones region, Puerto Iguazú is famous for the Iguazú Falls, its bustling nightlife, casinos, and its incredible cuisine.
Home to dozens of restaurants, pizzerias, steakhouses, bakeries, other bars, pubs, and of course, the famous Feirinha, a rustic space with outdoor tables and chairs, and despite being very simple, it exudes Argentine tradition.
In the midst of souvenir sellers, it is possible to taste and take home several Argentine delicacies, such as flavoured and stuffed olives (spiced, with cheese, garlic, hearts of palm, pepperoni), countless types of cheeses, wines, different types of alfajor, pizzas and empanadas, which, alongside parrillada (Argentine barbecue), can be considered the main dishes of Puerto Iguazú.
In this tour, you will also see the Marco das 3 Fronteiras on the Argentine side, where you will have the chance to see the lands and the obelisk of Paraguay and Brazil, the mouth of the Iguaçu River in the Paraná River and of course, the illuminated obelisk of Argentina.
