Burj Khalifa is described as a ‘Global Icon’ by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. Rising gracefully from the heart of Dubai, it embodies an extraordinary union of ultra-modern architecture, art, innovative engineering and meticulous craftsmanship.
Developed by Emaar Properties PJSC, Burj Khalifa was inaugurated on January 4, 2010, becoming the tallest building in the world at 828 metres (2,716.5 ft). The 200 plus story has 160 habitable levels, the most of any building in the world, and a total built-up area of 5.67 million square feet, featuring 1.85 million square feet of residential space and over 300,000 square feet of prime office space in addition to the area occupied by the Armani Hotel Dubai and the Armani Residences.
Burj Khalifa’s architecture features a triple-lobed footprint, an abstraction of the six-petalled desert flower, Hymenocallis. The tower is the result of international collaboration; over 60 consultants including 30 on-site contracting companies from around the world were involved in the project.
More than just the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa is an unprecedented example of international cooperation, symbolic beacon of progress, and an emblem of the new, dynamic and prosperous Middle East.

Level 148 – Burj Khalifa SKY
At 555 metres (1,821 ft) high, At the Top, Burj Khalifa SKY on Level 148 offers visitors an unprecedented opportunity to soak up unmatched views of the city and beyond. The At the Top, Burj Khalifa SKY journey includes levels 124 and 125.
