Approximately 120 km’s from the Capital City, Ponta do Ouro is the ideal destination for a Beach break. The beach forms an arch of around 7 km limited by rocky shores at the ends and makes part of the Ponta do Ouro Partial Marine Reserve.

This beach is perfect for the practice of some water sports, and also a perfect place to observe some of the most amazing marine life, like dolphins, whales and turtles (all depending on the time of the year). Or you can just opt to relax on its white sands.



The guide will pick you up in the morning to cross the brand-new Maputo – Catembe bridge, where you will get a superb view of Maputo City.

We will carry on our trip, passing in the small village of Salamanga, where you will have the opportunity to visit a local bread factory and a Hindu temple (optional stop).

We will arrive at Ponta do Ouro where we will have time to enjoy the beautiful beach.



After the pause for lunch (not included), we will get back to Maputo where we expect to arrive around 16:30 pm.
