From late November onwards, Christmas markets, songs, fairy tales and legends bring the region to life as the finest of the year's holidays approaches. With sparkling lights, a friendly atmosphere, the gentle fragrance of spices and cinnamon, not to mention the towns and villages putting up their decorations, in Alsace you can experience Christmas like nowhere else! This full day excursion will take you to some of the most beautiful Christmas markets of the region. Your experienced driver-guide will take you first to Eguisheim, voted as one of the most beautiful villages of France in 2013. Stroll down its picturesque and concentric narrow streets lined with half-timbered houses and rich floral decoration. It will be then time to go to the famous city of Colmar.



After lunch, driver to the village of Riquewirh, located on the famous Wine Route. This village is also not to be missed when visiting Alsace, as it is an "open-air museum". It has managed to preserve its authentic character behind its city walls, which are now besieged only by the vines. Finally, it will be time for us to leave for the last Christmas market of the day: Obernai. This medieval town is the second most visited town in the region after Strasbourg. This last visit at nightfall will allow you to be completely immersed within the festive atmosphere with unique Christmas lights and decorations. At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to Strasbourg.
