Put on some comfortable walking shoes, join a local guide, and get ready to sip your way through the beautiful city of Lyon.
An apéro is an evening ritual in France that combines friends, drinks and small bites, and on this tour, you’ll have the chance to enjoy the atmosphere of some of the bars locals love to visit in an up and coming Lyon neighbourhood. Cheers to a night on the town, mingling with locals and checking out some of the coolest bars in the city.
Your evening apéro tour begins on the left bank of river Rhône. From there, we’ll head to one of Lyon’s coolest local hangouts in an up and coming neighbourhood that’s become a hotspot for bars in the city. This is where you’ll enjoy a local beer.
After our welcome drink, we’ll stroll through the neighbourhood’s streets, taking in the sights and sounds of the evening. We’ll then head to another local bar run by a group of friends who play an important role in the local community. You’ll hear all about what they’re up to over a traditional Lyonnaise aperitif.
As we move on you will learn about the history of the neighbourhood we’re exploring and get a better understanding of how quickly it has changed in recent years. Next on our drink tasting adventure, we’ll have a chance to enjoy some tasty local bites and a glass of wine.
Our final stop of the night will be in a small bar to taste a traditional shot before parting ways. But if you want to stick around in the neighbourhood for more drinks and late-evening bites, your local guide can recommend some of their favorite bars and restaurants to check out.
