The best way to feel anywhere is to walk its streets. Burgos is one of the most monumental cities in Spain. Touring its historic center, we will know the reason for this heritage wealth in the considered Head of Castile. Through a tour of the exterior of the most representative buildings of the centre, we will learn about the history of this city.
The itinerary begins in front of the Arco de Santa María. We will walk along the most popular promenade of the city: El Espolón.
Its streets are full of ancestral homes, palaces of rich merchants who made their fortune with the export of Merino sheep wool.
We will stop at the medieval markets, stopping at the ‘Plaza Mayor’ and Casa del Cordón. It is obligatory to visit the Cid, in the square that bears his name.
