While having a layover in Guangzhou, hop off the plane and take a quick tour of the city sightseeing, make full use of your time and get to know vibrant Guangzhou on a half day group tour. This half day layover group tour starts from the meeting point (China Southern Airlines Accommodation Counter, close to Gate No. 50 of Arrival Hall on Ground Level, Terminal 2, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport) at 8:30 am, please make sure you could be there before this time. Excellent English-speaking tour guide will pick you up and escort you to visit the city highlights of Guangzhou.



You will firstly come to the Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family famed for its exquisite craftsmanship including wood, stone, and brick carving, and metalwork using copper and iron. The special historical, artistic, and scientific aspects of the temple have made it an important site in Guangzhou. Follow your guide to admire the most characteristic Guangdong architecture and discover its profound history.



Continue to visit Haixinsha Island bordered by Zhujiang New Town on the north and the Pearl River on the south, this is the venue of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Asian Games. There you will see top attractions such as the Canton Tower and Canton Opera House, and take amazing photos of Guangzhou iconic architectural landmark.



To taste the Cantonese style bite-sized cuisine, you will enjoy a delicious Dim Sum lunch at a local restaurant. After that, have a comfortable transfer back to the airport to conclude the trip.
