Program details
Soar high into the sky as you ascend out of Las Vegas and over Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the United States. Enjoy awe-inspiring views of Temple Bar, Iceberg Canyon and Fortification Hill, which is an extinct volcano. Keep an eye open for wildlife along the way as big horn sheep, mountain lions and wild horses roam free over the wilderness.
Approach the Grand Canyon from the Hualapai Indian Reservation in the west and fly through the canyon high above the majestic Colorado River as layers of limestone, each a different shade of ochre, yellow, orange, red and myriad shades, which creates a dramatic optical effect that highlights how deep the gorge is.
On the return journey, observe the stunning red rock formations even more astonishing landscapes as you prepare for the dazzling dénouement. The adventure ends with a spellbinding flight over the Las Vegas Strip and Glitter Gulch as Fremont Street is popularly known due to its neon signs such as the iconic Vegas Vic.
