Program details
Make the trip between Boston and Provincetown in Cape Cod in speed and style thanks to the ferry linking the two. Forget about Cape traffic and parking hassles and set sail! Boston's oldest and largest ferry operator offers the first, fastest and most luxurious 90-minute high speed catamaran service from Beantown to P-Town.
Enjoy the coast's historic and scenic sites while relaxing in the refreshing sea breeze. This ferry is the largest and fastest passenger-only catamaran in the US, landing in the heart of Provincetown in just 90 minutes. And with more on-board amenities and services than any other ferry in New England, getting there is half the fun. Be transported in superior comfort with cushioned airline and booth style seating, air-conditioning, free on board WIFI, audio-visual system with satellite TV as well as a bar serving food and outside deck space to enjoy the weather.
This ferry makes it easy for everyone to enjoy the restaurants, beaches, shopping and nightlife unique to Provincetown and the Outer Cape. So whether your vacation lasts a week or just a day, take the ferry and escape to the cape.
Provincetown’s origins date to 1727, during the British colonial period, and it is positioned in Barnstable County, which corresponds roughly to the territory of Cape Cod. Today it remains a small town with an old-world feel though in summer months the population swells. Provincetown is also an active cultural centre. In June every year, the Provincetown International Film Festival brightens up the scene. Dedicated to independent and avant-garde film, in the past the festival has honoured among others Quentin Tarantino, Kathleen Turner, Jim Jarmusch and Gus Van Sant.
