Visit one of Japan’s most iconic World Heritage Sites, Himeji Castle, one of a select few original castles remaining in the country. Wander its grounds and with the help of a knowledgeable guide find out all about the building and its fascinating history. Behold the castle’s strikingly beautiful and ornate white exterior that gives it the nickname of White Heron Castle.
Enjoy a Japanese style lunch here in the gardens before we make our way to Maiko via JR Special Rapid Service or Rapid Service (non-reserved seat). From here we continue to the world’s longest suspension bridge where you’ll walk 47 metres above sea level along the impressive Maiko Marine Promenade. At the end of the tour, we make our way back to Osaka via public transport (note that seating is not guaranteed) from Maiko.
