On this 3 hour Alhambra tour, step back into Spain and Granada’s Muslim past whilst exploring the palace, with skip the line entry tickets and alongside an expert professional guide ensuring that you will have priority and be one of the first to enter the grounds.
Follow your guide and discover the palace and fortress, which in its golden age acted as its own citadel housing the King of Granada and hundreds of family members, guards and servants and was the last bastion of the Moorish peoples in medieval Spain. Explore the glorious grounds, which feature fine examples of Muslim architecture and decoration still impressive to this day.
Meander the grounds of the charming Generalife Palace and its Gardens built during the 14th century during the reign of Muhammad II and Muhammad III. This exquisite complex was used as a summer palace and retreat by the Nasrid rulers of the Emirate of Granada. As you stroll through its manicured gardens, you will admire the Court of la Acequia with long pools framed by colourful flowerbeds, fountains, and an arched walkway offering beautiful views over the palace, the Sultana's Garden, lined with tall cypress trees, and you can even take a walk up the water stairway, the "Escalera del Agua".
Sitting on top of a hill, Alhambra also gives you the chance to take the perfect photos out over the city and surrounding regions, or just admire the breathtaking views as you work through the historic complex.
