About 50 miles from the city of Fortaleza, Morro Branco is one of the most breathtaking sections of the Ceara coast and has been the location for a number of Brasilian film and television productions.



Marvel as you wind your way between the surreal peaks and valleys of rock that stretch the length of the beach. Eroded over time by wind and water, these extraordinary formations display colourful bands of sedimentary rock that can be seen nowhere else in the world. Along with its stunning natural beauty, Morro Branco is world famous for its intricate handmade sand artworks, delicately crafted inside glass containers. Of course no visit to this area would be complete without some serious beach and relaxation time, so don’t forget your swimsuit!



The Morro Branco tour offers pick-up and drop-off to and from most hotels in Fortaleza. It is about an eight-hour round trip departing at 7.30am. Your experienced guide will ensure you encounter the best of Morro Branco, and can inform you about the area in either English or Spanish. It is recommended you bring sturdy footwear such as hiking boots or tennis shoes, and don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, sandals, a towel and a swimsuit, for some relaxation on this spectacular Brasilian beach!
