Program details

Meet members of the Hualapai tribe and explore their historic territory in the West Rim of the Grand Canyon with this fascinating helicopter tour from Las Vegas. You will fly over the beautiful Lake Las Vegas, Lake Mead, the engineering marvel that is Hoover Dam, the extinct volcano of Fortification Hill, and other breathtaking scenery and wildlife of the southwest before landing at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

The West Rim of the Grand Canyon is renowned for its spectacular red rock formations and a number of outstanding features that have made it one of the most popular areas. Among the many landmarks are Eagle Point, Guano Point, and a village where members of the Hualapai Native American tribe still live in the lands inhabited by their forefathers for centuries.

The helicopter will descend and land 1,000 meters (3,500ft) into the Grand Canyon, where you will be served champagne, drinks, and a light snack some 90 meters (300ft) above the flowing waters of the legendary Colorado River, whose force-carved the canyon into the Earth’s surface. Journey back through the canyon and touch down at the West Rim, from where you will enjoy the spectacular views along Eagle Point and be introduced to the Hualapai residents and hear about their legends and culture before continuing to Guano Point. Return to Las Vegas through the Bowl of Fire and conclude this spellbinding adventure with a glittering flight over the Las Vegas Strip.
