Waimea Canyon and Wailua River Tour

General information

Destination
Kauai Island, United States

Program details

Climb on board the minibus and fasten up for a fascinating tour around Waimea Canyon State Park. At over 10 miles long and over 3,000 feet deep and a mile wide, the image before you will leave you feeling overwhelmed. Firsthand witness why this may be referred to as “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific.”

Formed by a mixture of erosion and the collapse of the Kauai volcano, the colours and shapes of this completely natural scene are surreal. We’ll cruise along Route 580 that boasts incredible views of Wailua River embedded in a jungle like surrounding and features great, tumbling waterfalls. Listen as the guide narrates the tour, providing in depth information about the park.

Don’t worry, there will be many stops to get off and really embrace the surroundings. There will also be many photo opportunities, so don’t forget to bring your camera! Lookout over viewpoints and breath in the clear air, leaving the rush of the modern world behind. A truly unforgettable experience and perfect to reconnect with nature.
