Slip inside and be wowed by more than 500 Buddha statues!
Continue with the visit to the nearby, smaller but equally important Candi Mendut with its three-meter statue of Buddha, as well as Candi Pawon temple.
You shall get the chance to sit back and relax as you devour a lunch at a traditional local restaurant where you get to taste some local cuisine whilst breathing in that rich ambience that is ever so abundant in this serene and pretty place.
We finish the day with the visit to the old city of Jogjakarta by visiting the Sultan Palace and Taman Sari castle. You will learn all about how the royal family impacted the Javanese people.
