To obtain the discount, you simply have to present your Brussels Card and deliver the corresponding voucher.

Brussels Card + Public Transportation (option to select)
Your Brussels Card also provides you, during 24, 48 or 72hours, with unlimited and free access to the Brussels public transportation if option with transportation is selected: all tramways, subways and buses operated by the STIB/MIVB (official transport company of the Brussels Capital Region).
Brussels Card + Hop On Hop Off (option to select)
Hop on Hop off option gives you access to the TOOTbus Hop on Hop off buses for 24, 48 or 72 hours. If you take this option, just have the Hop on Hop off driver scan your Brussels Card. The validity of your Hop on Hop off ticket starts from your first use in the bus. This first use doesn’t have to coincide with your first museum visit, as the two tickets operate independently of each other.

The Brussels Card is especially geared towards adults, as a general rule, for children below the age of 12 it's not a good idea to buy a Brussels Card, from the point of view of saving money. Children get discounts at most museums and attractions (often free access for children up to 5 years and free access or discounts up to 50 per cent for children between 6 and 12 years old). Also students often benefit from special fees at museums and attractions on presentation of their student card.
