Join a small group tour with Oceania for a perfect introduction to marvellous Melbourne and make the most of your stay. Discover Melbourne’s Chinatown in Little Bourke Street which had it’s origin in Victoria’s gold rush era of the 1850s and the financial and high end shopping district of Collins Street, including our Stock Exchange. See the beautiful Flagstaff Gardens, the famous Queen Victoria Markets, as well as the hospital precinct. Marvel at the Melbourne Museum and the Royal Exhibition Building, which was the biggest building in Australia when it was finished for the 1880 World Fair.
See the Old Melbourne Gaol, where Australia’s most infamous bushranger was hanged in 1880 and the Melbourne City Baths. Travel along Spring Street where you will see beautiful examples of magnificent colonial architecture such as our Treasury Building, Parliament House, the Princess Theatre and St Patricks Cathedral. Take in the contrast of modern Federation Square and Flinders Street Station a place, oozing with history and traditional meeting point for Melbournians.
Be transfixed by the stunning Royal Botanic Gardens and the world- famous Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix track at Albert Park Lake and check out the renowned St Kilda Beach before heading back to town where we finish our journey at Eureka Tower (tickets available at additional cost).
