Program details
The biggest and most populated city in Ecuador is definitely worth a visit. Its streets, avenues, squares, parks and monuments are a true testimony to its history and shed some much needed light on the Spanish colonization and the independence which later followed.
Potter around this exciting city and get to see some of the most popular places. You will be able to visit the Parque Seminario which is home to a monument of Simon Bolivar, the stunning San Pedro Cathedral (which is a divine depiction of Neogothic style) and copious amounts of iguanas! You will also stumble across the City Hall, the Malecón 2000 and the Hemiciclo de la Rotonda: all of which pay tribute to Guayaquil’s past. You’ll also get to see the traditional districts of Las Peñas and Puerto Santa Ana. On top of all that, you will find an awesome and authentic little straw sunhat shop.
