Program details
During this circuit we visit Ahu Akivi, one of the few platforms where the statues seem to look to the sea, with seven moai on it, these are said to represent the seven explorers sent by the king to Hotu to Matu before travel colonizer.
After this visit will continue Puna Pau, red scoria small crater in which were made the Pukao: hats or crowns of the moai. Finally we will visit a particular platform with only one moai, but who has 20 fingers (or 4 hands) at Huri an Urenga. This statue is also peculiar because is firmly lined to the winter solstice. This platform is located at what we now consider the entrance of the Hanga roa town from the Anakena road.
Dress code: Rain coat, walking shoes, swimsuit, sun block and confortable clothing.
