On the first day, the tour goes to Pamukkale which is a photographer’s dream. Over centuries, the natural spring waters which fall down a hillside from the old Roman ruins of Hierapolis, have calcified into rock pools and formed terraces of white travertines, creating the effect of a cotton castle or in Turkish, Pamukkale. Also in the area is the wonderfully preserved Necropolis, the amphitheatre of Hierapolis and the fabulous Cleopatra’s pool which is a natural hot spring pool covering ancient columns and can be bathed in for an extra charge.
On the second day, the tour visits the spectacular ancient city of Ephesus where St Paul preached to its’ citizens on three separate occcasions.
