Located in the middle of the Sula Sea, Honda Bay is an authentic beach-lovers’ paradise. Uninhabited, remote sandbars jut out from the sea and offer you an unprecedented experience surrounded by blindingly blue waters. Start with a stop at Tabuan or Starfish Island. Consisting only of a tiny sandbar, this small isle’s waters are filled with starfish that wash onto the shore. Lay down your towel, gaze out at the sea and enjoy a buffet lunch at Cowrie Island with Pristine White Beach surrounded by clear Aquamarine water.



Like many places around Honda Bay, high tide makes these paradisiacal islets disappear underwater. Before returning to Puerto Princesa, discover Lulubog-Lilitaw “LuLi” Island, which literally translates to “Rise-Fall”. Named after the sea’s natural rhythm, local residents have built houses on stilts in this idyllic place that gives them a sandy beach during low tide and a mass of water beneath their feet during high tide.
