The charming city of La Paz is known for its fabulous sunsets and for its picturesque boardwalk. Either in the morning or in the afternoon when the boardwalk comes to life with many families, your guide takes you on stroll alongside the bay of La Paz where many of the main attractions are located. The boardwalk’s iconic statues relate to essential aspects of the city's history and idiosyncrasy and your guide brings the history back to life. Walking a pier offers a unique perspective of the city's waterfront.

The boardwalk’s iconic statues relate to essential aspects of the city's history and idiosyncrasy and your guide brings the history back to life. Walking a pier offers a unique perspective of the city's waterfront. Locals artists offer crafts with local motivs and made of local materials at the artisans' gallery. The exhibition Codex Peninsula at the Cultural Centre of La Paz is an excellent introduction of what caracterizes the state of Baja California.
Other attractions include a marine life mural by Wyland and the old lighthouse. As the sun gets hot you'll visit the Museum of the Whale: La Paz' newest attraction hosts Latin Americas's largest collection of original marine mammal skeletons including complete Orca, Humpback, Finback, Sperm and even a complete Blue Whale skeleton! The exhibition also features sections dedicated to sea turtles and sharks. Knowledgeable guides will explain in detail origin and evolutionary changes that made the whales what they are today. The visit of this museum is an excellent introduction for those actually going to watch whales in Baja California. After the visit we'll take you back to your hotel and on the way there we'll take you for a short stop at the main square and the cathedral of La Paz.
