Program details
We will go to the west of the city of Cuenca to the Cajas National Park. This park has an area of 29 hectares where there are 230 lakes of different sizes.
It is at a height between 3000 and 4500 m (9,843 to 14,764 feet). It is one of the largest reserves of water that has the country. It is characterized by its beautiful landscape of desert, rain forest, polylepis forest, tall vegetation and a variety of birds and mammals.
Once in the park we will walk for 3-4 hours around the Laguna La Toreadora. We will also see the gaps in Burin and Luspa.
