One Day Samos to Ikaria by Ferry

A fast ferry will depart from Kusadasi Port at and will arrive in Pythagorion Port on Samos Island after approximately 45 minutes. Birthplace of the Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras, this island is well known for its vineyards and production of wine. Here there is a 3 hour break with free time to go swimming at the beautiful nearby beaches, explore the small town of Pythagorion or visit places of historic interest.

After free time, the boat leaves for Ikaria Island and reaches Agios Kyrikos port after 1.10 hours. Named after Icarus who is believed to have fallen into the sea nearby according to Greek mythology, this small island has a number of taverns around the port serving fresh seafood and further afield there are beaches to relax on while, 5-10 minutes walking away is Therma village, famous for its thermal baths.


Meeting/pick-up point: Hotel pick-up.

Duration: The journey by ferry lasts 2.5 hours.

Start/opening time: Pick-up from hotels is approx between 8:15am - 08:45pm. From Kusadasi Port at 9am.

End/closing time: The ferry departs from Ikaria at 6:30pm, will return via Pythagorion on Samos and will arrive in Kusadasi at 9pm.

Required documentation: Passport.

Not included: Port tax (payable at Kusadasi Port).

Others: Includes ferry transport and 2-way transfer from hotels. Non-EU citizens must check if they need or have the required visa.
