Program details

This is a Fado show in the heart of Funchal, one of the places most visited by tourists. Fado is part of the Lusitanian soul. It was born in the taverns of XIX century and it is the symbol of Portuguese culture becoming Unesco Intangible Cultural Heritage. Accompanied by the Portuguese guitar Fado with male and female voices, it is the voice of the Portuguese people. For 50 minutes listen to powerful voices and Portuguese guitars, which make from Fado the national song that tells about sea, people, love and Saudade (a felling without translation, but which means you are missing someone or something).

Start/opening time: At 6pm. Clients are requested to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to show starting.
