Once your bilingual tour guide picks you up at your hotel, you go north of town in a customized drive in an air-conditioned vehicle in just minutes. The first stop is at the Málaga Bar, the oldest saloon in town where memorabilia of the first singers is gathered. Once there, get comfortable: use the restrooms and have a drink as you receive instructions from your tour guide. There is a café and restaurant. It is advisable to carry cash for additional expenses, since debit and credit cards might not be accepted.

We go on to the casa Gardeliana, a museum tribute to Carlos Gardel, located in the north of the city. After a few minutes, the tour continues to the San Pedro cemetery-museum, a magnificent sample of architecture where the King of Tango Carlos Gardel was first buried. Finally, the tour continues to the surroundings of the local airport to know the facts of the fatal accident where Carlos Gardel died 80 years ago.

You will know the homages made by different nations represented in sculptures and commemorative plates to the artist valued as patrimony of the humanity. Discover how this city came to be the heart of this vibrant rhythm and visit the most representative places where everything happened. Medellin is a tourist destination well known for its cultural and artistic scene, and one of the musical rhythms which has endured the test of time in the city.

Even after Gardel’s death, the famous Tango singer/songwriter, his legacy is still alive. The places to be visited are: San Pedro museum-cemetery, bar Málaga, Casa Gardeliana museum, Manrique neighborhood in the northeast of Medellin, local airport Enrique Olaya Herrera, Patio del Tango. Give a close look to the events that marked the entrance of the Tango to the city through the museums, monuments and bars where this culture forged.

At the end of the tour, your guide/driver will bring you back to your hotel or any other destination you decide.
