Have a rockin’ good time at the Hard Rock Cafe Munich and feast on delicious American fare while admiring a dazzling collection of music memorabilia. See the bustier Madonna wore during her 1985 Virgin Tour as well as items by popular German bands and artists such as Jan Delay, ich+ich, Gentleman and Silbermond. And this being Bavaria, you can be assured the beer is refreshingly cold.

Like all great revolutions, the Hard Rock Cafe wasn’t meant to succeed. It was 1971 and as the Swinging Sixties had given way to the Super Seventies, fashions and tastes were changing. Two hungry young Americans were in London and couldn’t find a decent place to eat a decent burger… so they opened up a joint in the English capital. Their landlord didn’t think it would last and gave them just a six-month lease. Four decades later, there almost 200 Hard Rock Cafes in more than 50 countries worldwide.

The first T-shirt hit the streets in ‘74 and the first piece of memorabilia came, fittingly, by chance in ‘79 when Eric Clapton asked to hang his Lead II Fender guitar over his favourite bar stool and thus mark as his spot. Today, the rock 'n' roll collection has more than 74,000 pieces and is the largest of its kind. By 1982, the Hard Rock Cafe had gone global and the rest, as they say, is history (that’s still being written)!

Gold Menu:
Choice of Starter: Lil House Salad.
Choice of main course: Legendary Burger or Veggie Leggie Burger or honey mustard chicken Sandwich, or Twisted Mac, Chicken & Cheese Pasta.
Signature ice cream and choice of soft drink, coffee or tea. All burgers served with either fries or a side salad.


Platinum Menu:
Choice of Starter: Lil Chef Salad OR 3 Bruschettas

Choice of main course: Grilled salmon or hickory-smoked Bar-B-Que Ribs, or hickory-smoked Bar-B-Que chicken, or Twisted Mac, chicken & Cheese, or New York strip steak, or Legendary burger, or veggie leggie burger, or chef’s salad
Baker’s choice dessert and choice of soft drink, coffee or tea
All burgers are served with a side salad or fries, lettuce, tomato and onion.


Diamond Menu:
Choice of Starter: Lil Chef Salad OR 3 Bruschettas

Choice of main course: Twisted Mac, chicken & Cheese or hickory-smoked Bar-B-Que Ribs, or hickory-smoked Bar-B-Que chicken, or Legendary burger, or veggie leggie burger, or chicken Caesar salad

Meeting/pick-up point: Platzl 1
Start/opening time: Bar at 10am and restaurant at 11.30am.
End/closing time: Midnight from Sunday to Thursday and 2m on Friday and Saturday.
