Ludwig II left his mark on the landscape of Bavaria with two enchanting architecturally stunning buildings that are bound to leave you speechless. Our journey into the story of their creator begins as we depart towards Linderhof Palace. Step into the sumptuous neo-French Rococo grounds, and see the opulence and visually stunning decorations of the only palace the king ever completed.
Afterwards we stop at the charming village of Oberammergau, a place that is renowned for its ornate frescoes and long tradition in wood carving, before making our way to the inspiring, soaring towers of Neuschwanstein Castle. Perched on its dramatic mountaintop location, Neuschwanstein conjures the magic only Walt Disney could create. Its fairy-tale towers, spectacular location and intricate décor, not only inspired Walt Disney, but are also filled with history, fables and legends that make this such a magical castle to visit.
